Take action against fraud
Report Identity Theft
Take immediate action if your identity has been stolen. Helpful information can also be found on the FTC's Identity Theft website.

Contact the companies where you know fraud occurred. Ask them to close or freeze the accounts. Change logins, passwords and PINs for your accounts.

Place a fraud alert and get your credit reports.
- Place a free, one-year fraud alert by contacting one of the three credit bureaus. That company must tell the other two.

- Get your free credit reports from Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. Go to annualcreditreport.com or call 1-877-322-8228.
- Place a free, one-year fraud alert by contacting one of the three credit bureaus. That company must tell the other two.
- Report Identity Theft to the FTC (www.identitytheft.gov).
- Consider filing a report with your local police department, especially if the theft or related crime occurred locally.
- Close any accounts that were identified as opened fraudulently in your name.
- Dispute any fraudulent charges on your accounts.
- Correct your credit report by disputing unauthorized accounts or activity (see web links in “2” above). Providing an FTC Identity Theft report will facilitate the blocking of the incorrect information on your credit report.
- Consider adding an extended fraud alert or credit freeze with the credit bureaus.
- Review your credit reports on a regular basis at annualcreditreport.com
Report suspicious or fraudulent activity
To report confirmed fraud or suspicious activity on your First Horizon Bank account or if a fraudulent account was opened in your name or with your social security number at First Horizon Bank, contact Client Services at 800-382-5465 or visit your local branch.
Report suspicious email, website(s), or text messages
If you suspect an email or text message appearing to be from First Horizon Bank is fraudulent, do not submit any personal information and forward the email or text message to PhishingAlerts@firsthorizon.com.
Report lost or stolen card(s) or check(s)
Report any lost or stolen First Horizon Bank card(s) or check(s) immediately by calling Client Services at 800-382-5465 or visiting your local branch.
Travel Notification
If you are traveling and plan on using your First Horizon Bank debit or credit card, call Client Services at 800-382-5465 before you leave to help minimize any potential disruption in using your card.
