Todd S. Jones

Todd S. Jones is executive vice president and head of internal consulting for First Horizon Corporation. He drives strategic business initiatives to simplify operating models, optimize client-facing and internal processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. He also provides strategic leadership and executive oversight for four specialized industry verticals.

Jones joined First Horizon in 2016 as leader of a newly created franchise finance industry vertical. He was named head of wholesale banking in 2018 and later transitioned to the head of Specialty Lending in 2020. Jones spent 12 years in GE Capital’s Franchise Finance business in various capacities, beginning in 2004. He joined GE Capital Markets Services, Inc., in July 2000 and served as senior vice president-securitization and Six Sigma Leader during his tenure, earning his Six Sigma Black Belt. Prior to joining GE Capital, Jones spent five years in the term and conduit securitization markets in various capacities with Wells Fargo Bank and Cargill Financial Services Corporation. He began his career as an audit professional for Arthur Andersen LLP, with an emphasis on the financial services sector.

Jones has been active in the Scottsdale, Arizona, community through his involvement on the boards of Junior Achievement of Arizona and The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale and fundraising committees for United Way.

Jones earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business with a major in accounting from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
